Created to address the persistent absence of flowers in psychiatric hospital settings, Bloom consisted of 28,000 potted, blooming flowers, selected and sorted by color, and placed throughout four floors of the historic Massachusetts Mental Health Center in Boston. It almost feels like there is a beauty and ephemerality that is left in the remnants of the previous occupants.  Really beautiful piece.  You can see some photos here.
