Evie Cahir has released a new series of work titled ‘RT’. Based in Melbourne, the 21 year-old works as a freelance illustrator/artist capturing the texture and tone of overlooked details. ‘RT’, a regularly updated project where original work is sold online, acts as a collection of recollections. Clothing, drapery and lone figures are pared down to convey the essence of a moment. The result is detailed and characteristically minimal illustrations which isolate and highlight the mundane and give it a new meaning in a creative and subtle way.
