Multimedia artist Reynald Drouhin’s revises crystal clear landscapes in his series ‘Landscape Monolith’, by turning sections of the land upside-down. By placing odd shapes directly in the center of the horizon he creates a window into a distinct, new place that matchlessly blends with the surrounding environment.

The intense colors and almost clear-cut lines of nature create abstract scenes. Drouhin doesn’t only work on dedicated spaces but apprehends alternately different possibilities, in that way trying to reveal something else than the ‘visible’ such a parallel space, ghostlike, strange, or resulting from coded data.
