Yoan Capote is a Cuban sculptor working out of Havana. His sculptural work has received numerous international awards and he is well known in the contemporary art community. His work is especially potent, often merging human organs with inanimate objects, arranging the human body and creating a clever commentary on human interaction. He has since moved onto designing furniture-using materials who usually belong to traditional art.
